A Bloody Descent into Madness
A Bloody Descent into Madness

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Troy Poppler’s Edward is not for the faint of heart. This grotesque, brutally graphic horror novella drags you screaming into the twisted origin story of a boy who becomes something even more terrifying with each chapter.

Poppler doesn’t flinch. From the first scene, we’re steeped in a visceral world of decay and depravity, a psychological spiral painted in blood and filth. Edward is equal parts sickening and hypnotic.

What elevates this from gore-for-gore’s-sake is Poppler’s writing which has the precision of a scalpel and the fury of a bone saw, capturing Edward’s unraveling mind. The imagery clings to you—disturbing, hallucinatory, and darkly poetic.

If Reels is the performance, Edward is the rehearsal soaked in blood, terror, and tragedy.

You’ll want to shower after reading it—but you won’t be able to look away. I might even recommend reading this on an empty stomach.
